Merry Christmas 2025 and Happy New Year!
As this year comes to an end and the Christmas season slows us down, we’ve been reflecting on just how much there is to be thankful for. It’s been a tough year for so many this year — and yet, gratitude continues to rise above it all.
We’ve always loved the Christmas season because, at its core, it’s truly about giving and being thankful. Thankful for what we have, for the people we love, and for the moments that matter most.
No matter how tough things get, one thing we will always be grateful for is time-sweet-time. Time with friends and family. Those special moments of togetherness. The laughter, the conversations, and the lifelong memories.
We simply want to say thank you for allowing us to be part of those memories and celebrations. Being included in your gatherings, milestones, and traditions is something we never take for granted.
We are beyond grateful for your continued support and wish you a season filled with joy, good company, and great wine. If we’ve added even one ounce of joy to you and your families this year, then we consider it another successful year.
We especially want to thank you for the wine and art purchases that turned into charitable donations for so many. This year’s highlights include another Empty Bowls and Raku with Love event supporting Stone Soup PDX and their mission to train the homeless in culinary careers; Terra’s 5th Birthday “Pawtery” Party benefiting the Newberg Animal Shelter; the Providence Hospitals’ Hearts of Gold Fundraiser, that helps so many in our community, and just a couple of weeks ago the Grinch Who-bilation charity event put on by Chehalem Valley Brewing that supported several Newberg Charities.
We also supported a new charity this year, SMA Cures, which is focused on a debilitating disease, Spinal Muscular Atrophy. We had the great pleasure of hosting a book signing by fellow club member Doug McCullough, author of A Billion People in the Shadows. Doug joined us at our very first Barrel Games Event and shared his story about his SMA journey but of course he had to participate and even rolled a barrel while driving his wheelchair. Guests purchased signed copies of his book that became a sizeable donation to the SMA Cures Foundation.
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO SUPPORTS OUR BUSINESS SO WE CAN CONTINUE TO SUPPORT THESE VERY DESERVING ORGANIZATIONS. Because of you, wine has become more than a delicious beverage — it has turned into generosity, connection and hope.
Remember, we love to support YOUR PERSONAL CHARITIES with donated bottles of wine and free tastings, so keep those requests coming!
As we look ahead to the New Year, we can’t wait to spend time-sweet-time with you again, and enjoy more stories, more laughter and more ways we can help others along the way.
From our hearts to yours, thank you for being part of our community. We wish you a Merry Christmas and a New Year filled with health, happiness, and moments worth cherishing.
With deepest gratitude,
Bill, Sandy, Terra and the rest of us at Potter’s Vineyard 🍷🎄
