The ‘blue label’ is our estate blend aged in neutral French oak barrels. Our 2013 wine was very light and delicate. Therefore, we decided to create a special vintage blend (VB) by combining it with our excellent 2014 vintage. We also exposed the wine to very little oxygen giving the wine some interesting complexity and ‘earthy’ aromas of smoke and leather. When you open a bottle, give it a long and vigorous swirl or a light decanting and you will be rewarded with rich complexity and bright cherry fruit. Note that there is no vintage year on the label (since it's two vintage years blended together) – so we’ve priced it 30% lower than our 2012 vintage.
